With my due date fast creeping up, I've just about got most things ready whilst convincing myself that we could be waiting another good few weeks before the little squawking bundle joins us. There's plenty to be getting on with for now. Things certainly aren't like the first time round, when I'd be basking the days away with pineapple smoothies and Netflix.
My saviour in this pregnancy has without a doubt been my bbugme pillow. Keeping up with the tornado that is a two year old, as well as our family business has left me in need of all the shut eye I can get. As I mentioned in my previous post, I'd heard such great things about this squishy sausage that I had to give it a try. With no chance of a duvet day, I wanted to make the nights as restful as could be. Growing a baby is exhausting work, whatever your situation!
Overall it's a lovely product; the big handy storage bag it comes in, the silky softness of the switchable bamboo sleeve and the beautifully subtle colour palette all feel like a treat rather than a generic maternity essential. Yep, whilst it could be classed as an indulgence, it's actually transformed my pregnant life. With the pillow and a spritz of homemade lavender spray, I've found myself waking up in the same position I nodded off in. A miracle!!
Developed by three female Norwegian chiropractors and entrepreneurs, the bbhugme is deigned to give important relief and support to the most critical areas during pregnancy; pelvis, low back, belly, knees and ankles. Once your baby has arrived, it transforms into a nursing pillow, as well as a nest for baby's play. I can already see that it's going to be well loved in our household...
You can purchase a BBhug me here and they will soon be coming to stockists in the UK.
